We recently opened a wall dividing a kitchen and living room in a Brooklyn Co-op.  It is trimmed out with traditional casement stained dark mahogany.  The counter was made by us alternating ash with mahogany.  Everything is clearcoated with water base polyurethane in semi gloss.
This staircase had been a back of the house servent's passage which the current owner wanted torn out and replaced.  With the exception of a few broken treads, many layers of paint, and a simple handrail, it was still servicable.  We stripped the steps down, replaced the broken treads, and built a new oak blaustrade with parts from Dykes  transforming these into something worth looking at as well as climbing.
Another staircase restoration.  This staircase had a old and wobbly balustrade on it as well as many layers of paint.  We stripped it down and made this wood and iron balustrade from part purchased at a big box store.
This vanity was the next level up from an off the shelf model - but still resonably priced.  We installed it in a home in Carrol Gardens.  The work entailed removing the countertop from the old vanity, afixing it to the new vanity, cutting out the rotten wall pipe for the drain, and replumbing everything including a new faucet.
