RATES
Most of the work we do, cabinetry, molding, custom doors, is done by written quote. We are competitive. We produce quality work.
When asked and when we have the time, we will perform repairs at an hourly rate. Our rates are competitive while enabling us to provide quality service with our guarantee:
For services expected to take one day or less:
Brooklyn and Queens:
$60 per hour. We are time conscious.
Locksmithing, Brooklyn and Queens
$80 for the initial service call or lock/cylinder change/install. Rate negotiated for additional lock/cylinder changes on the same property during the same call. Locksmithing is done as our time permits with priority given to existing customers.
Mahattan
$90 for the first hour/$70 per hour thereafter.
A day rate can be negotiated at a discount depending on the location and type of work. Please feel free to inquire.
The above rates are for a supervisory level mechanic or woodworker. For work expected to take longer than one day or for projects such as painting, woodwork, cabinetry, or general carpentry, a written quote is provided at no charge.
Emergency Service is available at a reasonable charge. Please inquire.
Parts and materials are additional.
Sales tax is collected on labor for all repairs. Capital improvements are tax exempt provided we have a signed certificate of capital improvement (NYS ST-124) on file. We can provide a copy.
Senior citizens receive 10% off our service rates.
Unless it is an emergency callout, we generally do not charge a premium for work outside of normal business hours.
Estimates for hourly work are free provided we proceed with the work. Otherwise a $30.00 trip charge applies.
We never charge for a quote for cabinetry, woodwork, painting or any jobs expected to take a day or longer.
